Energy Assistance

Hill County Electric Cooperative contributes funds to assist low-income members in meeting their energy needs. A total of $16,000 is committed to Universal Systems Benefits Program (USBP), of which $3,000 is specifically available for senior citizens who qualify. HCE members may qualify to receive assistance by applying with the local District IV Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) who administers the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Those seeking assistance must apply for LIEAP through the Havre HRDC office or Rocky Boy LIEAP office.
